Mechanical Design Engineering of in-house electric vehicle from 2020-2022. Bringing parts to production release.
Working on steel frame design and simulation in accordance to EU homologation and integration of cockpit electronics, housing, and wire-harness. Leading first prototype builds and assembly.
Providing support engineering on field issues and development of upgrades for existing fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes.

Road Runner was the in-house developed e-scooter from Dott. The design had operations in mind to make sure the maintenance time was minimal. Standardizing tool needed to repair or maintain across the vehicle. The wide steel frame and large wheels with low tire pressure provided an incredibly smooth ride. We constructed the scooter from steel tubes, for its superior properties for frame design and longevity, together with structural plastics (PA6-GA30) for its incredible strength and durability.
